About Alejandro Cora III, MBA
Alejandro began working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 2019 and quickly discovered how much he loved making a difference in their lives. His passion grew from seeing the impact of building trust, offering support, and celebrating each person’s achievements. That same dedication is what inspired him to help create Defying All Odds, where his focus is on providing services that empower individuals while also ensuring staff feel confident and supported in their roles. Alejandro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York College of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ashford University. With both professional expertise and a genuine commitment to people, he works every day to carry forward the mission of Defying All Odds.
About Capris L. Cora, M.Ed.
Capris has always found fulfillment in working with students, especially in creating meaningful connections by listening to their needs and helping them feel supported. She loved seeing the joy her students experienced when they felt understood and valued, and that passion continues to guide her work at Defying All Odds. Capris earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and her Master’s degree in Education from Grand Canyon University. With a strong background in education and a heart for advocacy, she is dedicated to ensuring that individuals served by Defying All Odds live fulfilling and empowered lives.
